This time around, check out a debut cut from Guns N’ Roses that Slash said was essentially a day in his life. There is also some classic AC/DC, Metallica with “Seek And Destroy,” “Lick It Up” from KISS, and Sammy Hagar’s solo masterpiece, “I Can’t Drive 55”. Saturday night at 6, join Q92 for The School Of Rock. It’s simple math, the best of the 60’s, 70’s and the 80’s plus Terry Callaghan plus you equals five hours of classic rock….with lessons you won’t want to skip. This week in the new super sized School of Rock things start off with another New Years Baby in your history lesson and a double dose of Steely Dan. After that make your way through 1985 with the first High School Reunion of the night featuring John Fogerty, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and the first Top 40 hit for Motley Crue. Then it’s another round of Six Degrees of Musical Separation featuring six legendary British musicians, from David Bowie to Jeff Beck before the High School Reunion from the tail end of the 70’s and some classic cuts from The Eagles, Pink Floyd and AC/DC flashing back to 1979.
